Nigeria: Adamawa 2015 - Group Tasks Delegates Over Fintiri's Candidature

5 September 2014

A group under the auspices of Fintiri Continuity Movement (FCM) has called on elected delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Saturday's primary in Adamawa to tread the path of honour and elect Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri as the flag bearer of the party in the October 2014 gubernatorial election.

Speaking in an address signed by the director general and director of publicity, Leader Leneke and Haruna Dunuba Daniel respectively, the group said, "Therefore, delegates, your election by the democratic people of Adamawa State must be seen and appreciated in the context of being an act in the right direction. You must see yourselves a repository of the people's collective wisdom and resolution of Adamawa citizens to participate in national developmental activities, without let or hindrance".
