Moxico — The Alto-Zambeze municipality, some 519 kilometres of eastern Moxico capital city (Luena) is recording a significant social and economic development, following the end of the armed conflict that severely hit the local population estimated at more than 125,000 inhabitants.
Today, those who travel to village headquarters (Cazombo) come across another reality. Houses under construction in almost all communal headquarters. The road connecting the municipal headquarters of Luau and Alto-Zambeze is being rehabilitated and paved in its 260 kilometers, which will ensure greater flow of people and goods.
