Rwanda: Police and Migeprof to Curb GBV and Child Abuse

Efforts to combat gender-based violence (GVB) are paying off across the country, says Ministry of Gender and Family Promotion communications specialist Darla Rudakubana.

Rudakubana is adamant that measures like "Akagoroba K' Ababyeyi", a platform where parents come together to share ideas, best practices and knowledge, school clubs against child abuse, and Isange One Stop Centers (IOSC) have led to a decrease in the instances of GBV and child abuse in the country.
