The Aids Support Organization (Taso) has begun a campaign to internally solicit funds for its activities, after a Usaid project closed in June.
The project focusing on access to treatment and support for children had been in existence for five years. Currently, the organization supports at least 8,000 orphans and vulnerable children by providing drugs, shelter and education. As of July 31, 2014, of the 1,128 clients that were initiated on the ART programme, 15 were children.
