Nigeria: Japan Supports Primary Education in FCT With Grants

TWO new primary school classroom projects completed with the assistance of the Embassy of Japan will be handed over today to Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Universal Basic Education Board.

The Government of Japan had granted $242,957 under the Japanese Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) to local NGOs to assist these projects. The Embassy hopes this assistance would contribute to improvement of basic education in the FCT and strengthen the amicable relationship between Japan and Nigeria.
