Africa Can Become Major Source of Energy Production

Luanda — The African continent is one of the regions of the world with the greatest unexplored energy reserves, which expands the prospects of becoming a major energy producer, said on Tuesday, in Luanda, the chairman of the board of Directors of the National Electricity Company (ENE), José Carlos.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 18th Congress of the Association of Electricity Corporation of Africa (ASEA), José Carlos advised that the challenges of the continent for the energy sector should take into account the renewable energy sources.
