Nigeria: NSE Records Highest Trading Value Since Inception

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) recorded a trading value of N48.708 billion on Monday, the highest daily trading value in the nearly 60 years history of the bourse.

The trading figure was a result of a total of 243,540,000 units of Dangote Cement Plc shares traded at N200 per share, valued at N48.708 billion as an off-market trade on September 8.
