Kenya: Faith Groups Prepare to Mark Environmental Day

Nairobi — Plans for the upcoming Inter-faith National Environmental Day on October 4 which shall be marked by ceremonial planting of five tree seedlings are in top notch, according to the event organizers.

Fr Charles Odira Kwanya, chairman of the interfaith environment committee said that the faith groups and organizations had already confirmed their availability and willingness to participate in the event under the theme "Faith commitments towards a living planet."
