Malawi: 'Recent Operations Should Not Scare People' Police

Mzuzu Residents have for the past two weeks experienced security lapses as Mzuzu Standard Bank got robbed of MK500 Million before police intercepted them at Jenda Roadblock in Mzimba with a recent operation of the Malawi Defence Force (MDF), Malawi Police Service (MPS) and Immigration department combing Mzuzu Market on an exercise that traders dubbed 'Mchotsa-Mbava'.

A prominent security downfall of late has been one in which daring thieves beat the security system and broke into Mudi House, the official residence of Vice-President Saulos Chilima in Blantyre.
