Nigeria: PDP Accuses APC of Falsely Linking Jonathan to Sheriff's Chad Trip

Abuja — THE Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has decried what it called attempt by the All Progressives Congress (APC) "to deceive Nigerians by issuing statements in the media presenting former Governor of Borno State, Ali Modu Sheriff, as being in President Jonathan's entourage to Chad, knowing same to be completely false."

PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, in a statement Saturday described as "repulsive and utterly despicable" the refusal of the APC to shed its taste for lying, spreading of falsehood and attacks on individuals, as means of achieving political control", in spite of several counsels by well-meaning Nigerians.
