Kaduna — Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Kenneth Minimah, on behalf of the Nigerian Army, at the weekend presented Purple Heart medals to 60 injured officers and men for their efforts in the fight against insurgency.
Minimah, who presented the medals during a visit to the 44 Army Reference Hospital Kaduna where officers and men of the military who were injured in the North-east operation are receiving treatment, denied insinuations that the Boko Haram sect had more sophisticated weapons.
