Tunisia: Draft Law On Renewable Energy - Plenary Session Adjourned Twice for Lack of Quorum

Tunis, — The plenary session of the National Constituent Assembly (NCA) dedicated to the discussion of the draft law on renewable energy began on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., with attendance of only 35 deputies, pushing Vice-President of the NCA Mehrezia Labidi to adjourn it for half an hour for lack of quorum.

The meeting was re-opened at around 10: 20 a.m by Chairman of the Committee on Energy, Shafik Zerguine, in the presence of 74 deputies, to be adjourned later, still for lack of quorum which requires the presence of at least 109 deputies.
