Malawi: Police Impound 96 Bags of Indian Hemp in Ntcheu

Ntcheu — Police in Ntcheu Monday morning impounded 96 bags of cannabis sativa (Indian hemp) suspected to be in transit from Dwangwa in Nkhotakota to Blantyre.

Ntcheu Police Deputy Public Relations Officer, Hastings Chigalu said the bags each weighing 50 Kilograms were impounded along the M5 road and seven suspects were also arrested on spot.
