Liberia: Gov't Dedicates U.S.$26,000 Health Center in Bong County

The Government of Liberia has dedicated a nine bedroom clinic in Jorquelleh District #2. Funding for the construction and subsequent opening of the health facility was allocated in the National Budget by Representative Prince Moye. Representative Moye told audience in Yarta that the initiative is in fulfillment of the government's pledge to improve the welfare of its citizens.

Rep. Moye recalled during the 2011 election campaign, citizens of Yaniwoun asked President Sirleaf to ensure the construction of a school and a clinic in their clan. The Bong County lawmaker said, as part his campaign promise to the President to the clan, he assured the citizens that if elected their quest for the two projects will be achieved.
