The Hague, Netherlands — The trial in the case of The Prosecutor v. William Samoei Ruto and Joshua Arap Sang continued today, Tuesday 16 September 2014, with the conclusion of the testimony of the 22nd Prosecution witness, who testified under the pseudonym 'P-0604', and the beginning of the testimony of the 23rd witness, who testified under the pseudonym 'P-0495'. Both witnesses testified by way of video-link, and under the protective measures of facial pixilation and voice distortion. Parts of the testimony were given in private sessions, in order to preserve the confidentiality of the identity of the witnesses.
