Nigeria: NNPC Workers Strike Cuts Gas Supply to Power Plants

Abuja — The Federal Government on Thursday disclosed that the strike embarked upon by workers of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has cut off gas supply to key power plants.

Workers at the Nigerian Gas Company, a subsidiary of the NNPC are part of the strike which commenced on Tuesday over disputes on the funding of pension schemes for the workers.
