Africa: Govt Pledges U.S.$3 Million to Host UN Habitat 111 Conference in Africa

Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Mrs. Akon Eyakenyi, yesterday in New York, United States, pledged $3 million towards the hosting of the 3rd United Nations (UN), conference on Housing and Urban Development otherwise known as Habitat (111) in Africa in 2016.

A statement made available to journalists by the ministry, said she spoke at the ongoing preparatory conference for the UN conference on Housing and Sustainable Urban Development in New York.
