Tunisia: Surprise Results From Tunisia Census

Najjar in Tunis — For the first time ever, there are more women than men in Tunisia, according to preliminary census results released September 12th.

Tunisia now has a population of 10,982,754, including foreigners living in the country for six months or more. That's an increase of more than a million compared to 2004.
