Sudan: Inventory of Damage in East Darfur After Soldier's Death

Ed Daein / Khartoum — An initial inventory of the damage caused by elements of the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) in the area of Bir Yassin, 60 km west of Ed Daein, capital of East Darfur, has been concluded.

A ministerial committee of military personnel from El Daein was immediately dispatched to Bir Yassin, after Sudanese army troops had ravaged the area on the evening of 17 September, in reaction to the killing of an army soldier.
