Liberia: Senate Divided Over Calls for U.S.$5 Milliom Ebola Money Audit

The word from behind the walls of the national legislature and sections of the Liberian presidency is that the initial report surrounding the breakdown of the $US5 million allotted for the fight against the menacing and deadly Ebola virus is so bad that no one wants it out.

This was clear on the floor of the Senate Thursday as lawmakers debated a letter submitted to the full body by three key senators by three key Senators: Nyonblee Karnga -Lawrence(Grand Bassa); Sando Johnson(Bomi) and Geraldine Doe-Sheriff(Montserrado).
