After recent elections the University of the Free State finally has a black female SRC President - the first woman in 105 years. But Mosa Leteane has encountered bigotry and has even been labelled a "Satanist". She almost gave up. At UFS the lines between race and gender as well as a few other things, run deep, criss-crossing the minefield she had to walk to grasp the top student title.
