Zimbabwe: ICAZ Mourns Eric Bloch

THE Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) has mourned the death of Eric Bloch, a renowned financial, management, taxation and economic consultant. A qualified Chartered Accountant and past president of ICAZ (2005-6), Bloch, who had a long and illustrious career, died on September 20 at his home in Khumalo, Bulawayo.

Bloch also served in various ICAZ committees including council, the ICAZ-RBZ liaison committee, tax and other legislations committee and public relations committee, to name but a few. Eric, a long serving member of ICAZ, will be remembered for his passion towards the development and growth of the accounting profession and the Zimbabwe economy as a whole.
