Mozambique: Armed Forces Have Helped Reduce "Hostile Actions"

Maputo — The activity of the Mozambican armed forces (FADM) has contributed unquestionably to a reduction in actions hostile to Mozambican society, declared President Armando Guebuza on Wednesday.

“Our forces have identified activities that particularly endanger the sovereignty of our motherland”, said Guebuza. “Among these illicit activities, particular stress should be laid on piracy, drug trafficking and illegal immigration”.
