Every year in September, world leaders, policy makers and civil society organisations gather together in New York at the United Nations (UN) Headquarters for the General Assembly (UNGA). This year's session has been to the backdrop of the UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon's UN Climate Summit, calling for a legally binding agreement to address climate change. Inevitably, other serious discussions have focused around tackling the current Ebola epidemic and strengthening international security.
