The US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Anne W. Patterson expressed Thursday in New York the "unequivocal support" of the United States to Algeria's efforts for a solution to the Libyan crisis in coordination with neighboring countries and the UN envoy to Libya, Bernardino Leon.
During her meeting with Foreign Minister, Ramtane Lamamra, at the headquarters of the Permanent Mission of Algeria to the United Nations, Patterson, also expressed "her country's readiness to support and accompany Algeria's efforts Algeria regarding Libya."
