Ethiopia: FMHACA to Hold a Symposium On Khat

The Ethiopian Food, Medicine and Health Care Administration and Control Authority (FMHACA) is to hold the first of its kind symposium on September 29, 2014 at the Authority's hall on the effects of khat on the country and to minimize and avoid its harms.

The symposium is expected to be attended by higher officials from the government including regional heads, and ministers. There will also be attendants from religious organizations, non-governmental organizations and civic societies.
