Nigeria: CWG Urges Govt to Invest in Last Mile Infrastructure

The Chief Executive Officer, Computer Warehouse Group Plc has called on government to invest in the critical 'last mile' infrastructure that would take broadband to homes and offices, thereby, boosting inclusive growth, as there was a correlation between broadband Access and the growth of the Gross Domestic Product of a country.

The CWG Plc boss who is also an Entrepreneur in Residence at Columbia Business School (CBS), New York, Austin Okere, stated this when he spoke on the Digital Advantage Panel anchored by Nielsen Bronwyn of CNBC Africa at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting of the New Champions held recently in Tianjin, China.
