Kenya: Varsity Closed Over Boycott

Law students at Moi University, Eldoret, have been home after lecturers boycotted lectures over four-month salary arrears. The School of Law was closed indefinitely on Monday evening after students went on rampage.

They said they have not been taught since they resumed about a month ago yet they pay fees in full. A lecturer who did not want his identity revealed said they have not been paid their salaries for the last academic year.
