Somalia: Somali Govt Offers U.S. $2 Million Bounty for New Al-Shabaab Leader

The Somali government announced a $2 million reward for information leading to the arrest of the new al-Shabaab leader Ahmed Omar, known as Abu Ubaidah, Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) Colonel Abdirahman Mohamed Turyare announced Saturday (September 27th).

Turyare also promised a $1 million reward for anyone with information leading to the killing of Omar, Somalia's RBC Radio reported.
