Algeria: Lamamra Stresses Need to Launch Consultations With Algerian Community Abroad

Algiers — Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ramtane Lamamra highlighted in Montreal, the need to launch consultations with the Algerian community abroad to lead to a strategy which sets out the rights and duties, beyond management and consular protection, the Foreign ministry said Wednesday in a communiqué.

Lamamra underlined the need to to initiate a process of consultation with the various segments of the Algerian community abroad in all countries, to lead to "the drawing up of a strategy or partnership charter between it and the mother country, which set out the rights and duties, beyond management and consular protection."
