Kenya: Three Kenyan Writers Going for Gold at Baobab Prize 2014

Kenyan writer Shaleen Keshavjee-Gulam with her daughter, Mishel. Shaleen's story, "Magical Kiosk" was long listed in the 2014 Golden Baobab Prize for literature. Two other Kenyan stories in the long list are Hilary Namunyu's "Teddy Mapesa and the Missing Cash", and Aleya Kassam's "The Jacaranda Tree".
