An eleven-member team from the United Nations Mission on Ebola Emergency Response (UNMEER) is in Ghana while more are expected to land soon.
UNMEER, a UN emergency response unit set up to tackle the existence of the Ebola Viral Disease (EVD)which has killed over six thousand people in the western parts of Africa, is to provide emergency response to the outbreak of the deadly Ebola Viral Disease, especially to the three affected countries --Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone.
