Nigeria: Curbing Ebola Disease - Nigerian Government, China Agree on N262 Million Deal

The Nigerian Government and the Chinese Government have recently signed an agreement on the grant of assistance worth Ten Million Yuan (N262 million) medical protection and treatment targeted at assisting Nigeria on the gaps identified and presented by the Federal Ministry of Health during the meeting with international development partners on August 28, 2014.

While speaking at the signing ceremony held lately, the Minister of the National Planning Commission, Abubakar Sulaiman averred that the grant on Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) will fill critical gaps in the country's drive to contain the spread of the disease in Nigeria. Adding, it will be used in the fight against the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD).
