Egypt's permanent delegate to UNESCO Mohamed Sameh Amr has stressed the importance of education as a basis for achieving sustainable development and for supporting the UN efforts aiming at developing human capabilities.
During a keynote speech before the first session of International Humanitarian Forum held in Azerbaijan, Amr, who heads the executive office of the organization, presented efforts exerted by the world organization to promote cultural diversity to meet the challenges of globalization.
