Algeria: High Teacher Schools to Be Reinforced to Meet Recruitment Needs, Announces Minister

Algiers — Minister of National Education Nouria Benghebrit has announced Thursday in Algiers that a sector-based working group (ministry of Education-ministry of higher education and scientific research) is currently preparing the specifications for the reinforcement of High Teacher School (ESE) so to "meet the growing needs in teachers."

While answering a question of deputy of the People's national Assembly (APN- Lower House of Parliament) during a plenary session chaired by speaker, Mohamed Larbi Ould Khelifa, Benghebrit affirmed that the Ministry of higher education and scientific research "plans to increase the number of these Schools to meet the recruitment needs."
