Nigeria: U.S.$9.3 Million Scam - Can President Receives Bashing On Social Media

The embattled leader of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor who held a meeting last Monday September 29, 2014 with the National Executive Council of the association in Abuja , said it was to break the silence over his involvement in the bungled $9.3 million arms deal.

According to reports by The Nation newspaper, the CAN President stated that there had been attempts by some sections of the media to link him with the incident, by some mischievous elements. He said, "As you are aware, the media has been awash in the past few days about an unfortunate incident involving the movement of funds from Nigeria to South Africa. And in the unfortunate news reports, attempts have been made to link me directly with the transaction"
