Namibia: Another Memorable Day Celebrating Old Wheelers

There's something about classic cars that stirs emotion in petrol-heads all over the world. Be it design elegance through simplistic ideas, creative and free thinking or a sheer abundance of power from big throbbing V8s, there's nothing that excites as much as these timeless machines.

What better place to be at than the annual Day of the Old Wheelers held in Windhoek? Not even the blistering sun or thrashing winds could keep the gawkers at bay. This year saw a lot of familiar vehicles put on display, but a few new entries wowed the huge crowds. A variety of vehicles were on display, everything from a Goggamobil to Belairs to Vespas.
