New York — "The people of Western Sahara should be allowed to express their aspirations freely," said Tuesday the Permanent Representative of Algeria to the UN, in his intervention before the UN Special Committee on Decolonization on Tuesday.
Recalling that Western Sahara is a Non-Self-Governing Territory, Algeria said is puzzled by the Moroccan representative's effort to reinterpret the right of self-determination.
