Liberia: Lawmaker Gives LD $200,000 to Private School Teachers

Private schools teachers in Montserrado County electoral district eight have expressed appreciation to Representative A. Vamuyan Conneh for a cash donation made to them. The group, under the banner District 14 Association of Private Schools Teachers, said they received a cash donation of L$200,000 from Rep. Conneh on September 23 to help sustain them during the ongoing Ebola crisis in Liberia.

The group's advisor, Christopher Toe- also a Vice Principal at the James Doe Younge A.G. School in Clara Town, said Rep. Conneh's donation was in recognition of the continuous economic constraints faced by private schools teachers during the crisis that warranted the closure of all schools.
