Algiers — The role of Algeria and its vision in the resolution of the Libyan crisis was hailed and dubbed "important" by the United Nations Secretary General's Special Representative for Libya and the head of the UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Bernardino Leon.
"Algeria has a vision, an understanding and an initiative that are the best for (a solution) in Libya," said Wednesday in Algiers Leon at the end of the audience granted to him by Minister for Maghreb and African Affairs Abdelkader Messahel.
