Algeria: Chevenement Underlines in Algiers Challenges to Be Taken Up By Algeria, France

Algiers — The challenges that should be taken up by Algeria and France to strengthen their relations and to effectively fight against terrorism were underlined Saturday in Algiers by Chairman of France-Algeria Association Jean-Pierre Chevenement.

Invited by the French Institute of Algiers to lead a conference under the theme "Algeria and France, an ambition at the service of peace in the world," as part of his visit to Algeria, Chevenement said that the challenges that should be taken up by the two countries concern "development, security in the Sahel and fight against global terrorism."
