Uganda: Quality Chemicals in Blood Drive

Quality Chemical Industries (QCIL) on Wednesday celebrated seven years of manufacturing quality medicines by mobilizing the community and schools around the plant to donate blood.

This was done to support the Uganda blood bank to have adequate stocks of blood. George Baguma Cipla/QCIL's, director commercial affairs, said shortage of blood meant choice between life and death. The drug manufacturers hope to collect 300 pints of blood.
