Kenya: Governor Roba Witnesses First Ever Cesarean Section Birth in Mandera

THE first ever cesarean section in Northern Kenya was performed in Mandera county on Monday. A cesarean section is a surgical operation in which a fetus is delivered through an incision in the mother's abdomen and uterus.

The exercise took place at Takaba Subcounty Hospital in the presence of Governor Ali Roba and Health executive Hassan Eymoy.
