Mozambique: Fake Ballot Papers or Printing Error?

Maputo — Claims are circulating in Quelimane, capital of the central Mozambican province of Zambezia, of an attempt to introduce ballot papers, pre-marked in favour of the ruling Frelimo Party, into ballot boxes in the Coalane neighbourhood - but the Zambezia branch of the Electoral Administration Technical Secretariat (STAE) says it has received no notification of this.

Eye-witnesses told AIM that 17 of these ballot papers were detected, in polling station number 04038101, with black dots in the space beside the name of the Frelimo presidential candidate, Filipe Nyusi.
