Liberia: Pentecostal Mission Alarms Over Condition of Women and Children

Monrovia — The Pentecostal Mission Unlimited (PMU-Liberia), a faith based organization operating in Liberia, has alarmed over the deplorable condition of women and children who have survived or lost relatives and loved ones to the deadly Ebola virus in the country.

Addressing a news conference Thursday at its 12 houses road office, the Executive Director of the organization Rev. Jallah Kormah disclosed that there are dozens of abandoned women and children currently in Lofa County who lost several of their families during this Ebola outbreak and are finding it difficult to make a better living due to economic hardship and continues stigmatization within their communities.
