Nigeria: Benue Guber Aspirant Promises Agric Revolution

Makurdi — A FORMER minister of state for Niger Delta affairs and frontline governorship aspirant on the platform of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Benue state, Sam Ode, Friday asked his kinsmen of Idoma ethnic extraction in zone "c" to build bridges of understanding and confidence with the two other senatorial zones so as to cement ties for his victory come 2015.

Contrary to speculations in some quarters that the PDP caucus in the state south senatorial district has pruned the number of aspirants for the plum governorship position to three, leaving him out of the race, Ode stated that he is still in the race questioning where such a meeting was held before the decision was taken.
