Kampala — Students from South Sudan's Warrap state currently studying in Uganda have elected a new chairperson for their association, in addition to other post holders. Garang Deng Majak, who headed the electoral process, described the polls conducted in Kampala on Saturday as "free and fair".
Emmanuel Majok Akuecbeny was elected the association's new chairperson, defeating Akook Yai Akook by 148 votes, he said.
