Western Sahara: Saharawi Workers Celebrate National Day of Workers

Shaheed Elhafed — Saharawi workers celebrated Monday the workers' National Day, which coincides with the operation of detonating the conveyor beltofBucraa phosphate in El Aaiun, on October 20, 1974, to stop the illegal exploitation of Saharawi resources.

In a statement, the GeneralUnion of Saguia El Hamra and Rio de Oro (UGTSARIO) expressed its warmest felicitationto all Saharawi workers on this day and its solidarity and support tothe Saharawi workers in the occupied territories of Western Sahara.
