Kenya: Row Erupts Again Between Shollei and Mutunga

THE row between Chief Justice Willy Mutunga and former Registrar of the Judiciary Gladys Shollei has erupted again over the the acquisition of a prestigious official residence for the CJ in Runda in 2013.

"I have no official residence. Since my appointment I live in a rented apartment. My house allowance is 100K and is taxed," Mutunga posted on Twitter yesterday. He became CJ on June 22, 2011.
