Tanzania: Lions and Buffaloes Are Bitter Enemies

WHILE on route to Moyowosi River a herd of about 35 African buffaloes arrived at open grassland near Morungu and found the carcass of lion's cub on the ground after it was abandoned by its mother who must have felt it was too weak to face the challenges of the savannah.

Out of curiosity one buffalo sniffed the carcass and tried to bite the body of their greatest enemy in wild before others came and snatched it from her mouth and kick it vigorously from one side to another to express feelings against their bitter enemy.
